The great divide in software engineering
We are witnessing the most significant split in the engineering workforce in two decades. The industry is separating into two groups.

The “Vibe Coders”
Developers who treat AI as a black box, building demos that fail in production due to cost, latency, or hallucination

The Agentic Engineers
Developers who treat AI as an engineering component, orchestrating multi-agent systems with control over state, cost, and security
The Agentic Engineer Program is not a bootcamp. It is a career accelerator designed by Tikal’s senior architects to teach the engineering discipline required to build reliable, self healing AI systems at scale.
What will you gain
This program is designed to bridge the gap between building agentic prototypes and engineering production grade AI systems

Methodology over tools
Master the Twelve-Factor Agentic SDLC. A structured engineering playbook for the full lifecycle of agentic systems

Production mindset
Move from “getting it to work” to “getting it to stay up.” Evaluation, cost control, governance, and security from day one

Architectural mastery
Design multi-agent workflows and stateful systems. Build self-healing architectures used in real production environments
Who is this program for
This program is designed for practicing software engineers with 2–3+ years of professional experience.
-
You know how to ship code, work with Git, and integrate APIs.
-
You are comfortable building systems, but feel that “just coding” is no longer enough.
-
You want to move from experimenting with AI to engineering reliable, production-ready agentic systems.
-
You are ready to take responsibility for architecture, not just implementation.

Participants are expected to have:
Strong Python proficiency
Hands-on experience with Git and collaborative SDLC workflows
Comfort working with REST APIs and JSON
High proficiency in reading and writing English
This program assumes professional experience. We will not teach programming fundamentals or basic software development concepts.

Why learn from us?
For over 25 years, Tikal has been a hands-on tech consultancy working with leading engineering teams. This program is based on real architectures we design and operate in production, informed by the Israeli Tech Radar and our daily work with complex systems.
You are learning how AI systems are actually built, evaluated, and maintained at scale.
